Exhaust gas from the engine to determine the color of the technical condition of the engine
When the engine is operating, the fuel in the cylinder exhaust gas generated from the plane burned. When the engine is working properly and complete combustion of fuel, exhaust gas mainly water vapor (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen (N2), the exhaust gas is generally pale gray. When incomplete combustion of fuel or the engine is not working properly, there will be the presence of hydrocarbons in the exhaust gas (HC), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and soot and other harmful substances, so that the exhaust color appear white, black or blue. Visible, engine exhaust can reflect the color of the fuel combustion engine technology and health status. Therefore, the car driver and vehicle maintenance personnel can determine the color of the exhaust gas through the engine technical state of the engine.
